Char (born 1955 in Tokyo) is a Japanese rock guitarist. He made his major solo debut in "Navy Blue" in 1976. Since, He has released a number of solo and session albums, and also played with many musicians, such as Larry Carlton and Paul Jackson. In 2009, He launched The new label "ZICCA RECORDS". He released DVD + CD "TRADROCK by Char" series in 2010, that he covered & arranged his roots musicians songs by his own interpretation. The 35th anniversary of his debut in 2011, he is expanding his activities as a Japanese top rock guitarist .
